Urban Intervention

Produced as part of Sweet Streets, A Festival of Urban and Street Art the Google map: The Urban Intervention Art Trail was produced to help the public find street sculpture in Melbourne’s laneways.

Serving as a point of departure, this open access, collaborative platform has been initiated to enable the public to ‘tag’ there own works on the trail and surrounding area. As an open ended proposition, this project has the potential to produce an ever expanding web of connections between sites, artists and artistic interventions. Prospectively it could deliver an endlessly growing archive of Melbourne street art for the enjoyment of all Melbournians and visitors.
